Acrobatic dancer smiles through 'AGT' loss

By Ree Hines, TODAY contributor

It was a week of second chances on "America's Got Talent" as the judges brought back 12 ousted contestants for another shot in the $1 million showdown. But there was only room for four of the familiar faces to move on in the competition, meaning several acts had to say so long again -- including the always-upbeat acrobatic dancer Lindsay Norton.

With her smile still in place Thursday morning, Lindsay visited TODAY to talk about positive attitude and how she feels about her second "Got Talent" loss.

"I'm just a happy person!" she said.

Yes, even happy to go home when fellow returning contestants Sebastien "El Charro de Oro," Andrew De Leon, Todd Oliver and dance group All That! nabbed the few remaining spots.

"That's all right," Lindsay insisted. "I mean, up against all the talent that I was against -- amazing people and amazing performers, All That! definitely deserved it -- I'm really proud of them. I'll be rooting them on just as much."

As for her future outside of the talent show, the 16-year-old, who seems like a perfect fit for Cirque du Soleil, simply said "I'd love to do something with this. I have no idea what it's going to be yet, but we're kind of figuring that out."

See how the rest of "America's Got Talent" acts do when the semifinals kick off Tuesday night at 8 pm on NBC.
