The Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio, Texas is currently seeking a bilingual Communications Director (C.D.) to work in its San Antonio location with regular travel to Mexico City. The C.D. is responsible for the strategic leadership, oversight and implementation of internal and external communications for the Congregation and its international missions and programs. The C.D. will develop and manage international staff, systems and processes to achieve congregational and individual mission communication goals including, but not limited to, developing an organizational communications plan and budget, creation of an annual timeline of major religious events and activities, design plan for mission communications efforts around fundraising or events, and collaborate on the development plan aligning with needs of the Congregation domestically and internationally.

In support of the Congregation's positions and programs, the Communications Director works to enhance its image, raise awareness and inform a broad and influential audience about the Congregation with ethical behavior and alignment with core values and views of the Congregation. The C.D. works closely with congregational leaders to fully implement communications among key constituencies; manages the national and international proactive media relations and actively participates in the planning and coordination of various Congregational assemblies, meetings and special events. The C.D. will be an active member of the communications staff with a diverse knowledge base including public relations, fundraising, marketing, new media/websites, writing, and project management.

Qualifications
? B.A. with five years significant related experience (non-profit preferred); Master's Degree in communications preferred.
? Bilingual in English and Spanish, reading and writing
? Extensive knowledge of web and social media and proven success in implementation.
? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects on deadline.
? Excellent writing, technical and interpersonal skills.
? Computer literacy in all relevant programs.
? Able to travel internationally.
? Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual capacity to perform and carry out the mission and the vision of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.
