US based technology company, Swipe Telecom on Friday launched a 7.0-inch co-branded tablet PC MTV Slash.
The new device can be purchased at the company's official website for ?9,490. Prospective buyers can also head to online shop Snapdeal which is offering the device for the same price with flexible 3 and 6 months EMI scheme.

Swipe MTV Slash sports 7.0-inch capacitive touch screen with 1024x600p display resolutions and supports Dual-SIM (type: GSM) slots and dual standby mode. It runs on Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system.
The tablet packs 1GHz dual-core MediaTek processor powered by Li-Ion Polymer battery with 3000 mAh. It also houses 1GB RAM and 4GB memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB through t-flash card.
In terms of software applications, it comes pre-loaded with MTV apps- 'MTV India' which provides exclusive access to MTV programs, blogs, photos, videos, web casts and more. Another app- 'MTV Hottie' offers a sneak peek on MTV Splitsvilla contestants over five seasons. Other applications include Flash Support 11.1, Kingsoft Office, EBook Reader and Audio recording.
The company had launched an affordable 6.0-inch phablet, MTV Volt 1000 last month same time around for ?11,999.
